STEVE MBOGO the ODM MP candidate for Starehe Constituency is now the darling of city residents after he showed his ability to respond to emergency and needs of low income earners.
Grogan garage settlers who were recently left paupers are the latest beneficiaries of relief donations by the flamboyant ODM point man in Nairobi after he donated construction materials to the recently burnt Tsunami market in river road Grogon area. The MP candidate also offered financial support for the fire victims to start up their businesses.
“I sympathise with you guys after the inferno which has left many of you I’m dire need of help. Pole sana but remember come August 8 things will change when I plan to offer you guys bursaries for your children and CDF for development of your businesses,” said Mbogo last week when he responded to the Grogon fire incident.
Mbogo is facing Jubilee’s Kanji Njagua alias Jaguar and Boniface Mwangi of Ukweli Party in the Starehe Constituency race. But Mbogo has already already emerged leading in all opinion polls conducted by reputable pollsters.
Here are some of the pictures Mbogo donating funds and construction material to fire victims in Starehe.
