Dear NASA,
I hope you are still doing fine. Am here again because you are our only hope. In 2007, l invested emotionally in the elections, so heavily that when the victory was denied, stolen, l felt l was the only person who could deal with Kibaki. I wanted him brought to my revered presence for punishment that only l knew.
This time l will not kill myself. Am telling you these things so that when you ignore and you lose, l will be the first to hit you. HARD!
Voter turnout is key in this election just like in any other. Previously your strongholds pick votes but never cast them.
The great commission is to get out the vote. The key to doing this is mobilizing the votes by MCAs, Governors, MPs.
There is no need having all the MPs, Governors and MCAs following the Principals everywhere. Nobody knows Governor Awiti for example in Turkana or Gladys Wanga in Pokot. Slotting them to speak and parading them kills time you need to push your message through.
You will never see Uhuru Kenyatta travelling with 10 governors and 76 MPs to a rally. He meets the leaders of that region and only come with a few national leaders known to everyone. They remain behind mobilizing votes. So you will see him with known characters like Ruto and Duale and Murkomen. NASA should only tag along known people like Orengo, Joho, Khalwale, Muthama etc. The rest to go back and sing to the strongholds.
And most of those who follow Raila and the Principals everywhere are Luo MPs, aspirants and Governors.
I want to give you an example of Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jnr. The mobilization that man is doing for Raila and NASA in his backyard will be told another day. Go to his Facebook page and rallies. You would think he is Raila’s brother. And he is doing it in his home county while Luo leaders and other leaders follow Raila like flies.
Let leaders remain behind and get out the vote.
Other issues;
1. Why is NASA not doing roadshows across the country while Jubilee is doing so? Roadshows are powerful and make you connect with your votes. Voters must be continually seduced, pampered, excited, cajoled and shown things through deliberate visibility and publicity.
2. Do not just have billboards of you five Principals. Have pictorial billboards with messages. Photos that also speak to the illiterate even if you chose to write nothing. There is a lot to say in this government.
3. Where are your TV adverts as in 2007 when they littered the airwaves and TVs and were the talk of town like that famous ” Kama si Domo” TV ad that swept Kenyans off their feet?
4. Why do you have only one rally a day, two months to the election? Will you be able to cover the whole country in time for 8/8?
Do not tell me you don’t have money because l know you have.
If you keep money to build mansions after elections, this antelope will not be killed.
I thank you.
Sincerely,
Eric Ochanji II and 9,999,999 adherents.
