Controversial Political scientist professor Mutahi Ngunyi has projected that hon Johnson Sakaja will win the Nairobi Senatorial seat with more than 1 million votes.
Speaking at his Upper Hill office, professor Ngunyi said reiterated that Sakaja will most likely break the Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko’s 2013 record where he garnered slightly more than 800,000 votes.
Ngunyi was speaking to Members of the Fourth Estate when he received KPMG audit report on IEBC register.
Mr. Ngunyi said Hon Sakaja commands monumental respect from across the political divide.
He said unlike other politicians, Sakaja has endeared himself to the hearts of millions because he plays mature politics.
“You see, Sakaja is a man of immaculate character. Many refer to him as a tribeless Kenyan because he is a polyglot who speaks more than 6 local languages. Sakaja is one of the most disciplined politicians this country has ever had. He always eschews propagating tribal hatred. I personally esteem his character and I can assure you I have all the reasons to vote for him. This man Sakaja will get a lot of votes from NASA supporters because he has previously confirmed he respects BABA Raila. If you want a Luo to do anything for you, just tell him/her you love Baba. Sakaja has done just that.” He said.
“In 2013, the current Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko garnered 840,000, the highest number of votes ever obtained by an individual since the country got independence. This time you can be sure that Sakaja will surpass 1m mark and rewrite history. Long story short, Sakaja is competing against himself. His main challenger is himself. The fact that he was born and bred in the city confirms he knows what the people want” He added.
Senior political analysts Barrack Muluka, Grand Muller Ahmednassir Abdulahi, Professor Edward Kisiangani, PLO Lumumba, Professor Herman Manyora and senior politician Orie Rogo Manduli have openly predicted Sakaja’s landslide victory.
