Top Kisii gospel artiste Christopher Mosioma aka Embarambamba has been trending recently because of his unusual theatrics while singing.
Embarambamba’s videos where he is seen rolling on mud and hanging on trees like a bat have gone viral on social media in both local and international platforms.
However, Embarambamba confesses that despite being popular, he is still broke. His music hasn’t paid off. He says that a producer took his music and posted it on his You Tube channel, denying the artiste an opportunity to earn from it.
However, Embarambamba has revealed the man who has been footing his bills; aspiring Senator for Kisii County hon Joel Okengo Nyambane.
According to Embarambamba, hon Okengo has stood with him since he started his musical journey.
He says all his polca dot suits are procured by hon Okengo.
According to Chris, Senator Okengo has promised to take care of all the production costs of his first album that is set to be released soon.
Hon Okengo is planning to make five suits for Embarambamba each suit costing sh6500. He’ll also procure suits for dancers and pay for the cost of music production.
Hon Okengo is a renowned philanthropist who has donated to a lot of charity programs across Gusiiland.
He has also donated towards schools and churches. Mr. Nyambane is also the brain behing GUSII CREATIVE AWARDS (GCA), an annual award ceremony where top Gusii artistes from various fields are awarded for their outstanding performance.
