The High court has directed IEBC to include Wiper Machakos governor aspirant Wavinya Ndeti’s name in the gazette notice of cleared candidates.
This followed her appeal against a ruling by the commission’s dispute resolution tribunal that nullified her nomination on Thursday.

The tribunal said Ndeti committed an electoral offence by being a member of two parties, namely CCU and Wiper.
But she denied the claim by MCA Peter Kyalo who filed a petition saying she belonged to the parties.
In his ruling Friday, Justice George Odunga further quashed the tribunal’s decision to bar Ndeti from contesting the August polls.
Odunga certified the matter as urgent and directed the electoral agency to ensure Ndeti’s name is on the ballot.
The Wiper candidate will face incumbent Alfred Mutua.
