Minority Whip in the National Assembly Junet Mohammed has termed allegations of ODM instigated chaos in Kibra as whining of “sour losers” who do not want to concede defeat and the constituency move on.
Speaking to NTV Journalist Ken Mijungu, Hon. Junet who was in charge of the Kibra campaigns dismissed claims that ODM orchestrated the turmoil witnessed on the voting day in the constituency which saw several Jubilee leaders ejected from various polling booths.
ODM maintains the Jubilee leaders wanted to rig the election through massive vote buying.
DP Ruto has demanded apology from ODM, blaming the alleged chaos on theĀ lose of his candidate Macdonald Mariga.
Junet dismissed Ruto, urging him to institute a petition in court if he has sufficient evidence.
“We live in a country where a presidential election was nullified. What has stopped the DP from approaching the courts to seek justice? He is just a sore loser who believed he would win,” said Hon. Junet.
Another group of ODM MPs also held a press conference in parliament rejecting the accusations being leveled against the party. Led by nominated MP Wilson Sossion, the MPs urged DP Ruto to move on after losing Kibra and focus on other critical aspects of governance that needs the attention of the government, like the dwindling economy.
