After Flying In Foreign Pathologist, The Family Is Considering Foreign Investigators
A reliable source has disclosed that the family of the late Makueni Senator Hon Mutula Kilonzo is seriously considering flying in foreign investigators to help unravel what could have killed the eminent senator in his Maanzoni Ranch, Machakos County.
The family will make the final decision on hiring foreign investigators after obtaining autopsy results. The South African-based British Pathologist the family hired will join Chief Government Pathologist Dr Johansen Oduor and other local pathologists in conducting the exercise at the Lee Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon.
The family source also disclosed that the late Senator had expressed fears for his life before and including the day he died over reasons yet disclosed
“We have information that the Mutula Kilonzo had told a couple of people of the threat to his life and that happened including even the day he died,†added the source on condition of anonymity given the sensitivity of the matter and ongoing investigations.
At the same time the sources also disclosed apart from the foam found on the late senator’s mouth when his body was discovered, he is also said to have vomited blood.
“There were traces of blood from what he had vomited on the sink,†added the sources.
“The fact that family is considering foreign homicide investigators is an indication that even with inside information they are convinced that an hidden hand was involved†a family friend hinted
“The family is doing what Mutula could have wished to be done, as you know he was very thorough in whatever he did, it could be a big disrespect if the family were to accept and move on†added the source.
Attention for now shifts to the postmortem to be conducted today Tuesday 30th April. It is not yet established if the family hire the famed Scotland Yard investigators or they will opt for other agencies.
