Former Nigeria President Goodluck Jonathan arrived in Kenya over the weekend in what sources say is a ‘narrow shave’ from corruption-free new President Mahammadu Buhari.
Several top officials who served in the Jonathan’s government have signed amnesty pacts with Buhari’s anti-corruption officials to return the monies they stole from Nigeria’s coffers for exchange of clemency -to escape jail term.
Jonathan is reported to be staying in a presidential suite at Maasai Mara Game Park awaiting the annual wildebeest migration. Some sources however say he may be in the country for a long time. Buhari had just started closing down on him.
