DP Ruto: JAP will win 2017 polls, CORD daydreaming of victory

DP Ruto: JAP will win 2017 polls, CORD daydreaming of victory

May 18, 2015 Leave a Comment

Deputy President William Ruto yesterday heightened his renewed onslaught on opposition CORD repeating that JAP will trounce it in the next elections. Speaking to a mammoth crowd in Lari, Central Kenya, the DP said JAP is unbeatable.

The DP claimed they defeated the opposition when they were out of power and wondered how CORD intends to beat them at the ballot now that they are in power.

The DP said the opposition is daydreaming.

He also echoed President Uhuru’s calls that the two leaders must quit politics to get their pension. President Uhuru declined to sign a bill that would have seen the two leaders access their pension benefits.

“If they did not defeat us when they were Prime Minister and Vice President, while the President and myself were nobody, do you think they can do it in the next election? That is like dreaming during the day,” Ruto said.
