Kenya has confirmed its first Coronavirus case.
Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe on Friday said the patient is a Kenyan who travelled from US via London.
He said that although the patient, a Kenyan, is stable and eating, she will not be released from hospital until she is confirmed negative.
The woman is at Kenyatta National Hospital’s Infectious Disease Unit.
The government says it has traced all contacts the patient made since her arrival.
Consequently, Kenya has suspended all travel outside the country unless necessary.
A Nairobi based pundit, quipped:
Picture this:
The passenger boarded a flight to Kenya, sharing the plane with other Kenya-bound passengers.
Those passengers are now in the general population, I am thinking some are old white men who give our skinny and illiterate girls sleepless nights, demanding for tummy rubs and head massages.
Assuming it was a Boeing 747 with a capacity of 340 passengers, we are looking at not less than 200 cases in 5 days.
Forget about the one passenger we know of. Think of those who shared the plane with her. The number should be at 800 and counting… it is that bad…

I’ve been browsing online more than 4 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all website owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the internet will be much more useful than ever before.|
