Photos: Tears in Kisumu as Uhuru Jubilee women leaders visits baby Pendo’s parents

It was a moment of sorry with tears filling in the lake side city , Kisumu after over 30 women elected leader under the EMBRACE movement landed in Raila Odinga’s bedrock to console with parents of the late baby Samantha Pendo.
Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee women leaders led by Muranga woman Rep Hon Sabina Chege today joined their NASA counterparts in visiting Kisumu county the region that experienced the worst police brutality in the 2017 presidential election. Police were accused of shooting peaceful demonstrators, among those killed was a 2 year old baby Pendo.

The woman leaders paid the family of baby Pendo a visit and none of them could hold tears back as they listened to Mama Pendo give a detailed account of what exactly transpired that fateful night. On his part, Baba Pendo asked all Kenyans that let his child’s death be the last bloodshed because of elections. Team Embrace Kenya shared with the family foodstuff and promised compensation by National Government. Already monies have been set aside for the same, #EmbraceInKisumu
