Koffi Olomide has apologized for appearing to kick one of his dancers who had gone ahead to assault Cindy Le Coeur upon their arrival at the JKIA for their show tomorrow at the Bomas of Kenya.

Trouble started back at Kinshasa when the lady started fuming that her preferred fellow dancers were left out of the Nairobi trip. She insulted Cindy all the way upto Nairobi.

It got worse when she appeared to assault Cindy upon their arrival. For those who don’t know, Cindy is the heartbeat of Koffi’s current music, she is why Mopao Mokonzi is still at the top of the game. Papa na Didistone cherishes her a lot and some of the female artists at QL don’t like it.

Actually the lady Mopao appeared to kick is leading rebels against her in the band for this. The 13th Apostle couldn’t hold his cool because the lady went too far in public. I personally accept his apology for the over-reaction.

But this is just a tip of the drama around Mopao’s glamorous music career, as a mentor, producer and singer for over 35 years now. For some of us who are his ardent followers, we are not surprised at all. This is not the first of such incidences. He never sighs away from instilling discipline in his band. I celebrate the greatest Congolese artist alive, welcome to Kenya again Quadra Koraman ‪#‎MopaoInKenya‬
