FOCUS shifts to Mombasa, Governor Joho to LEAD Thousands in anti IEBC Demonstrations

Focus will tomorrow shift to Mombasa as ODM deputy party leader Governor Hassan Joho will be leading a strong 100,000 demonstrators demanding immediate resignation of the alleged corrupt and biased IEBC commissioners.

Governor Joho had travelled to overseas on official duties reason wy he was missing in action. The countrywide demonstrations gain momentum last week with major protests reported in Nairobi, Kisumu, Kisii, Homabay, Kakamega and Machakos. Governor Joho has promised to lead from the front tomorrow.

“I humbly request you to join me, leaders and residents of Mombasa in a peaceful protest demonstration against the IEBC from 9.30am at Uhuru Gardens. I urge everyone to carry a white handkerchief as a symbol of peace as we deliver our petition to the IEBC offices.”
– Governor Joho told reporters.
