Who is next after me?
All animals have tried;
When the hyena reigned,
All were gluttons;
All tummies enlarged;
All the sheep were slaughtered.
But worse was the successor;
Cow’s failures!
The latter was lenient and loose
Everybody milked her easily
How docile you are!
They praised her.
The cow was rich but careless;
Shortly her dominion silhouetted;
Then came the cunning, blind fox;
Then the dove, then the frog;
Then the colorful chameleon;
And the world was indifferent.
Then came the wild cat;
He was a brutal butcher;
The world looked at it
And shouted;
Peace! Peace! Peace!
Give us our security!
Let there be humanity!
And tears welled out
It was an agony,
The world is a full storm.
~A terrible thing~
