BREAKING: Taveta MP Hon Dr Naomi Shaban DUMPS Uhuru’s Jubilee Party, Voters told her to Forget Parliament if she sticks with Jubilee

Dr Naomi Shaban the Taveta MP has resigned from Jubilee party and will be seeking re-election on another party. Dr Shabani is a close ally of President Uhuru, she was first elected to parliament on a KANU ticket and has all alomg been a bedrock of Uhuru even in parliament.

In a letter to Jubilee party secretariat and copied to IEBC chairman, the states; “Due to unavoidable circumstances, I wish to resign from Jubilee Party. I will no longer be vying for the Taveta constituency seat under the Jubilee Party umbrella……” . “I wish Jubilee Party all the best in the upcoming election,” she said in the letter dated April 8, 2017. She said she would announce the party she has decamped to in the coming days

The land issue in Taveta is too hot for many especially those aligned to Uhuru Jubilee alliance. Dr Shaban is widely consulting her groundsmen and may contenst as an independent, a source told this writer
