President Omar el-Bashir is not in the list of heads of state and government attending tomorrow’s inauguration of President elect Uhuru Kenyatta. Earlier reports quoting a source in Khartom had indicated that Bashier had been invited and was set to attend the ceremony, it now appears that Uhuru is keen to maintain warm relations with USA and Europe, this development confirms that the anti-West sentiments by Uhuru on the campaign trail that he could do business with China and rest of Africa were just rhetoric meant to a rouse nationalism agenda to defeat his main rival PM Odinga.
