STATEHOUSE Operatives to MAKE shs 1 BILLION by selling Waitiki farm to Poor Likoni IDPs

Sad that some Kenyans are children of a lesser god according to jubilee government. I have never heard in others parts of Kenya especially Central and Rift valley where the squatters or IDPs are charged money for them to be given land by government.

In the Waitiki case the government has announced all 11,000 squatters receiving title deeds for Waitiki Farm in Likoni must pay Sh182,000 each to legally own plots,a move which I see playing business with the lives of poor Kenyans.

Let’s breakdown the maths…

11000×182000= 2002000000 or 2.2B

Now the govt bought the land @ 1.2B from the owner Waithika. From the Tittle deeds the goverment will generate a profit of 1B.
My question> where will the One Billion goes to? Your guess is as good as mine.

Further,

The tittle deed will contain the name of the National Bank until you finish paying the bank in 3yesrs time is when they will issue you with tittle deed with your name.

And if,you fail to raise the 182,000 in 3years time National bank will have no option but to auction your properties and the land.

Now a common poor man who is struggling to raise daily bread where will he be able to get 60,000 per year or 182,000 in years time.

Recently the Mau squatters were settled freely each given one acre land, are people from the coast different from those of Mau or the coast people are second class citizen.

When a leader plays business with the poor people of Likoni their as country we have no moral to kneel before GOD asking for prayers and prosperity of nation. It is pure hypocrisy.

The county government of Mombasa is ready to waive the 300m that mr waitiki accumulated only on a condition that the central government issues titles for free.
