Senator Mike Sonko HUMILIATES Cyrus Jirongo for INSULTING Uhuru in Kangemi PAG Church event

November 2, 2015 5 Comments

The Nairobi senator Hon Mike Sonko clashed with Cyrus Jirongo at PAG church in Kangemi after jirongo accused president Uhuru of entertaining corruption and tribalism in government. Hon Jirongo’s remarks that those who acquired land irregularly at independence are again taking over the Turkana Oil as other ordinary Kenyans watched as slaves got Sonko infuriated.

Senator Sonko took a swipe at Hon Jirongo and went on to tell the congregation that the former Lugari MP was more tainted than any other Kenyan a live today including Kamlesh Pattin. The popular Nairobi senator took the congregation down memory lane and reminded them how Hon Jirongo allegedly grabbed thousands of hectares of land in Nairobi from town centre CBD to Upper Hill area and in the outskirts and suburbs as far as Saika, Ruai and therefore he lacks moral authority to speak on matters corruption.

Sonko challenged Jirongo to offer the land he grabbed to the Luyha community members in Kangemi if indeed cared about their plight.

Many Kenyans are of the opinion that likes of Jirongo should publicly apologize and return any public land they grabbed in order to have a clean start.

Hon Sonko urged the luhya community to join hands to work together with the government, hinted at a possibility of resuming back the Sonko Rescue Team as many poor Kenyans have piled pressure on him to continue with his philanthropic work. Many of the beneficiaries of the Sonko rescue team were mainly people from Western Kenya and Nyanza who had problems with felling bodies of their loved ones for burial back home.

Other politicians present were Nairobi governor Dr Evans kidero, The Lord Mayor George aladwa and Hon Wanyonyi. The leaders noted that hate speech is raising political temperatures in the country and vowed to work together for the benefit city residents irrespective of their tribe or political affiliation.
