CORD leader Raila Odinga has rewarded Mombasa women Rep Hon Mishi Mboko with a position in the powerful House Business Committee of Parliament by removing Lunga Lunga MP Khatib Mwashetani whose is said to be undermining the ODM party.

In an order paper seen by local media on Tuesday, only Mwashetani’s name was dropped from the HBC which comprises 29 MPs from Jubilee and Cord and was replaced with Mombasa woman representative Mishi Mboko.

Members of Parliament will vote on new members of the committee in Parliament today. The parties drop and retain members when they reconstitute the team.

Hon Mwashetani has been criticized by his constituents for going to bed with Jubilee while on the ground no tangible development has been effected, whereas other ODM rebels like Ken Obura and Richard Onyonka have received support in cleaning slums and repairing roads by NYS for Hon Mwashetani got nothing to show, not even a single a borehole for his people in dry constituency, yake ni tumbo tu– a resident was heard complaining recently at a political event in Mombasa.
