NASA agenda at the higher education level.
By Anwar Saddat
Universities and colleges are the incubators of inventions that shape countries and nations.
Within the precincts of lecturer halls, libraries, and college dorms, young minds are exposed to knowledge that challenge their thinking, spur their curiosity and hopefully motivate them to suggest and provide practical solutions to the problems that their society and other human beings face.
On College Education, a NASA government will do the following:
1) Lower the cost of University and college education to make it affordable for all Kenyans: NASA believes that no family should become poor by spending all their money in educating their children. The NASA government will be partners with parents to ensure their children get the best education without breaking their bank accounts.
2) Increase HELB Loan amount disbursed to all students. NASA believes that no university student must be forced to work to raise school fees or to pay for other living expenses. NASA understands that during this critical time in the development of our youths, it is important that our youths and their families are not bogged down with worries of how they will pay for college, what they will eat while at college, where they will live at while in college.
Pata potea bahati nasibu thing that has characterized HELB LOAN disbursement under the Jubilee government where the loan is delayed, or some students not getting enough money to cover their cost of education, will end with the beginning of a NASA government.
NASA believes that it’s the duty of the government to educate its young people and prepare them to serve their nation and humanity.
As a university and college student, or a parent of a university or college student, NASA government is good for you.
Vote NASA for a better country and prosperous future.
