ODM’s Steve Mbogo TOPS Starehe Constituency Opinion Polls, To DEFEAT Jaguar and Boniface Mwangi With Big Margin

ODM’s Steve Mbogo is headed for a major victory in the Starehe parliamentary seat.

According to a new opinion poll released by a local media house, Mbogo would emerge victorious in the August 8 polls with 63% followed by Jubilee candidate Charles Njagua Kanyi who will garner 24% and then activist Boniface Mwangi of Ukweli Party comes a distant third with 13%.

The survey done in Starehe between 29 May- 5 June 2017 also shows that Mbogo will receive 79% of female votes in Starehe and 58% of male votes while his closest challenger, musician Jaguar would get 11% of female votes and 28% of male votes. Mwangi comes third with 10% of female votes and 145 of male.

In terms popularity the ODM candidate comes first with 70%, followed by Jubilee candidate with 25% and Mwangi third with 5%.
The poll further shows that the city businessman enjoys majority in media coverage with 61% followed by Jaguar with 28% and Mwangi at 11%.

Ata least 2,500 respondents were sampled in the survey commissioned by a local media house.

If the status quo remains, Mbogo would be among the group of youthful politicians who will join the August House after the August 8 polls.
