Kenyans Told To Treat Waiganjo’s “Cooked” Revelations as Nothing New But Jubilee’s Manufactured Propaganda.

August 30, 2013

Supporters of CORD leader Raila Odinga have dismissed the “cooked” revelations by ‘fake cop’ Joshua Waiganjo as a common phenomenon they have got used to since the International Criminal Court indicted Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto.

In an interview they claim was Waiganjo’s revelations were stage managed by the media to continue discrediting the right honerable Prime Minister, the CORD leaders followers took issue with a story appearing in the Star Newspaper where Waiganjo, a remand suspect with a series of robbery charges as well as impersonation of senior police officers, now claims Raila bribed him with ksh 30 million to incriminate Uhuru Kenyatta at the Hague.

The new attempt to link Odinga to the tribulations of Kenyatta come at a time the ICC has tightened its noose on the cases facing the duo, with a requirement that William Ruto must attend all court proceedings running for couples of weeks.

Interestingly, by the time Waiganjo was nabbed by the police after the botched Baragoi operations where tens of policemen were killed, the ICC had already stopped taking witness statements, witnesses or evidences against Uhuru.

To Odinga supporters, the alleged actions by Waiganjo is consistent with Uhuru’s propaganda tactics, where Raila must be scandalised whenever the ICC begins to get tough.

“We are not surprised, we knew it would get here. We are waiting for the worst still. These guy is clutching at a straw and he is being promised freedom; who can refuse government offers in such scenario?” George Manyiza a CORD supporter explained.

Supporters of the CORD leader have urged him, or those seen to speak on his behalf, not respond to such cheap and malicious allegations, saying doing so will put Odinga where Jubilee wants him to be- on the defensive.

“We have come to understand these tactics. Let me not say more,” said a senior aide to the Prime Minister Odinga.
