As the former Vice President His Excellence Kalonzo Musyoka boycotted Uhuru’s Ukambani tour, one senator Mike Sonko was shining all the way to the ‘bottoms’ and hearts of thousands of the Kambas who had turned up to show their support to Jubilee government.
The overwhelming mad love showed by the Kamba to their popular son (Hon Sonko got fanatical following in Nairobi -especially in the slums, at the Coast and across Kenya) prompted the super senator to announce his candidature for Presidency in 2032 after DP Ruto concludes his term.
Throughout yesterday’s events, Senator Sonko’s presence pushed the masses’ ecstasy to a political cloud 9 with his super mastery of Swahili/Sheng and Kamba, reverberating through the hearts of the young and old in equal measure. This got president Uhuru and DP Ruto nodding in appreciation.
A close ally of Governor Mutua acknowledged that Senator Sonko’s presence was a blessing as previously they had only had Kalembe Ndile to bank on
“Sonko made it so easy for us. The masses were thrilled and this shows the political direction of the entire Kamba nation,” Ndiku, an ally of Governor Mutua told this writer.
