It is becoming extremely frustrating for Jubilee top operatives involved the Malindi constituency by election, despite flooding the constituency with brown envelopes via leading opinion leaders the residents have kept off all Jubilee major events. It all started when President Uhuru camped in the area and only managed to attract students and a few curious onlookers.

Today Malindi is hosting senator Mike Sonko and Majority leader in Parliament Hon Duale, the duo have been criss crossing from one big hotel to another meeting local Jubilee leaders and nothing is happening in Public as locals keep off. The residents are not koved by Sonko theatrics.

The local organisers were today forced to use opposition leaders names to pull crowds to their rally. By 2pm on Monday, Malindi people had not showed up to the venue of the planned rally at Ngala ground in Malindi, later around 3pm the organisers dispatched a pick-up 4×4 mounted with public address system inviting the public to attend. They had to lie to the wanainch that the event will be attended by Mombasa women rep name Hon. Mishi Mboko not withstanding the fact that Hon Mboko was in Likoni attending a burial of one of the KDF Matyrs.

Here are some of the images taken at the venue of the rally around 1pm, which was empty by the then.
