Twitter is on FIRE after State House blogger Dennis Itumbi appeared to offer ‘qualified’ support to Auditor General Edward Ouko over his recent report detailing Jubilee regime theft of billions of shillings of taxpayers money.
Itumbi lamented that ‘accountability is supreme’, and dissed the fringe bloggers attempting to question the integrity of the Auditor General.
The Auditor General revealed over sh 400 billion cannot be accounted for, a revelation which sent government attack dogs in high defensive gear.
The Jubilee Party has responded by demanding the Auditor General to be audited too!
When activist Boniface Mwangi shared a tweet from a supposed account run by a government functionary, Itumbi denied such account speaks ‘on behalf’ of government, sparking outbursts from Jubilee bloggers who wanted to know who Itumbi thinks he is, and what makes him think he speaks for the government.
