FOUR THINGS happened in Meru County while Jubilee presidential candidate Uhuru Kenyatta campaigned there today. You won’t see this in the prime time news bulletin:
1..Governor Peter Munya skipped the Uhuruto Tour. His phone reportedly out of reach since Friday, suspected to be afraid of backlash for being seem as supporting Jubilee.
2…Angry Wananchi barricaded roads and lit huge bonfires along Meru – Nkubu road .. in protest against Uhuru tour. They do not want area labelled Jubilee say they are now in NASA
3…Uhuru finally accepts six – piece voting can work in Kiambu but never in Meru County. He admitted this in several stops in Meru County pleading with voters to remember him for the top seat but be free to choose their own in lower seats.
4.. Heavily armed anti-riot police deployed to the area to ensure security in the region as Uhuru tours.
