News crews have now been offered tea and snacks as they wait scheduled 9:00am presser (that is running late already) by Uhuru and Ruto
DP Ruto is playing hard-ball on Uhuru’s proposed new cabinet list that excludes suspended CS who were listed in the cooked ‘list of shame’. For the third time, the DP has ducked forcing state house postpone the much a waited event that could have eased pressure on Uhuru over massive corruption in government linking his trusted CS Ann Waiguru.
The Deputy President has insisted the names of URP nominees he forwarded months ago for appointments in top government jobs should be endorsed without changes and that the cabinet ministers who have been cleared of corruption allegation by Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission be re-appointed. Other hand President Uhuru’s side is opposed to retaining cleared ministers, arguing that the government will not be seen to be serious about fighting corruption.
However, DP Ruto’s men have maintained corruption in jubilee regime should neither be fought nor seen to be fought only on  his side, citing the case of Devolution CS Anne Waiguru, which the President is not keen on sacking.
