February 4, 2013 Leave a Comment

The Gusii people got love for Prime Minister Raila Odinga, hundreds of thousands of Gusii residents took off from their farms and businesses to attend a CORD rally at the Gusii Municipal stadium that was addressed by CORD principals.

“We came here to demonstrate to Jubilee that we have no land to use tractors BUT we need Tinga as president to clean the mess and till the system for a smooth implementation of the Katiba”  Mochama Ocharo, a CORD supporter said.

” Ujinga ni Jubilee ku-promise Wa-Kisii Ma-Tractor and yet in Kisii there is no land. Hizo tractor ni za watu wa mashaba makubwa makubwa- they chased us from Rift Valley to till our pieces with tractor, God will reward them” said  Bundi Ondieki an ex- IDP who traveled from Nyamira to attend the Kisii rally.

“Hapa leo ni Raila day, no customers, I was bored so I closed down the shop to attend, he is our president and we pray that God grant him good health to see Kenya through this economic mess Kibaki created“  Bochaberi Moturi a shop operator in Kisii town said.

Well, with such crowds and clear message its obvious Gusii is not a swing vote.
