A group of Kenyan Americans led by Mburu Muhoro of Boston, Massachusetts are increasingly getting concerned about the risks and consequences of the recent election of ICC inductees into high office in Kenya . Uhuru Kenyatta, was declared president in suspicious circumstances which culminated in a Supreme Court case.
Wary of a break out of any future genocide in Kenya, the architects of this new effort are in the formative stages of petitioning President Obama and Governor Deval patrick to help them obtain the contents detailing President Uhuru’s life while he was at Amherst.
Uhuru, son of Kenya’s first President is currently an ICC inductee, who was recently humiliated by the British media when he was described as a Criminal President by British leading dailies. British Prime Minister David Cameron is reported to have declined a photo-op with Uhuru, an ICC inductee.
The Kenyan Americans involved with planning this civic push; hope to find clues if any that could have served as a warning or red-light to the world that Uhuru may at some point turn out to be a genocide suspect.
“Whether it is Hitler, or Charles Taylor, genocide criminals usually have elements in their life, that could have served as a warning to humanity, about the potential dangers that they poseâ€, they say.
The Kenyan born Americans believe that Uhuru as a public servant in a position of power has 40 million lives in his hands, and therefore a better profile of him ought to be forensically reconstructed.
Such a forensic study and reconstruction of Uhuru’s life at Amherst will also help the world know how Uhuru, who was a Political Science student, acted and responded or commented during classes about past genocide suspects like Adolf Hitler of Germany who killed 6 million Jews. Did he appear disproportionately interested and inspired by such persons like Hitler?
The key concern, according to Prof. Gerald Wright- a forensic psychologist- who will help the Kenyans commission the forensic study is whether Uhuru’s Amherst records have clues as to whether the 2007/8 genocide was preventable, if at all it turns out that Uhuru was culpable, depending on the outcome of the ICC case.  However they add that the study presumes that Uhuru is innocent until proven guilty.
The study will delve into whether Uhuru exhibited suspicious behaviors. Questions like; Did he get into brawls with classmates? He has been alleged to be a smoker, for example, and are there records of Uhuru smoking anything other than cigarettes? Did he graduate, and what was his GPA? Were his grades E’s, D’s, C’s, B’s or A’s? Questions have usually been raised about his academic capabilities in both 2002 and 2013. This study will either clear him or vindicate those who who question the President’s intellect.
Even though drug test records are important, they are classified as a medical record- which are considered private and can only be obtained with Uhuru’s consent, and clues to drug use if any might not be forthcoming, at least not within the bounds of this study.
It could also get into the details as to whether there’s information that if Uhuru’s records at Amherst were released in good time, Uhuru could have been tagged by the international community and monitored closely, just in case “there was sufficient evidence in the records, that he posed a danger to humanityâ€.
“This is a man whom we know how he turned out- an ICC inductee President- and whose life at Amherst has been in question since his first stab at the Presidency in 2002, when he was imposed on Kenyans by then KANU dictatorship led by Daniel Arap Moi….we want to establish a correlation between his college life, and his culmination as an ICC suspect, and whether Amherst abdicated a moral responsibility to tell the world about who the real Uhuru Kenyatta as a person isâ€.
They cite other “genocide suspects turned war criminal “like Charles Taylor who is reported by Boston Globe in 1985 to have broken out of jail while in the US, but who turned out to commit atrocious acts against the Liberian people.
If Obama or Governor Deval Patrick fails to intervene, the captains of Kenyan American inspired study vow to seek a court order, which they are certain of obtaining, given the stakes involved given that it’s in the interest of humanity.
