Uhuru Kenyatta: HYPOCRISY is a CRIME

Finally one Uhuru Kenyatta has come out clearly without mincing words and admitted that corruption has become a national disaster, a national shame and an international stigma in our motherland. This is a good step forward. It is true corruption has denied our people the services they so badly need. Corruption has robbed our people and left them in total poverty.

The call that all individuals mentioned in corruption should step aside pending investigation has come at the right time when Kenyans are crying for justice and a delivery of speedy services. It has come at a time when the government has been brought to its knees by the same individuals milking our resources as we watch.

Topping the list of corruption is the Uhuru Kenyatta family. The Kenyatta family sits on land belonging to all Kenyans. It is a shame that one family will sit on productive land, carefully selected, land an equivalent of a province, while Kenyans, the rightful owners of the land remain not only landless, but also homeless and squatters in their own home, 50 years down independence road. Uhuru Kenyatta should lead the pack in stepping aside until the truth is established, if truth and accountability and responsibility is really what Kenyatta called for.

Immediately below the top is William Samoei arap Ruto. Mention any land scandal, any land grabbing, any shady deals in relation to land. William Ruto will not miss to feature.so corrupt is Ruto that he has been nicknamed a PRIVATE LAND DEVELOPER. So deeply rooted is Ruto’s land cartels that all Kenyans have learnt to live with it. Every morning Ruto is in the media or in court defending his land grabbing. Ruto should step aside awaiting investigation, if dealing corruption mercilessly is what we are looking for as a people.

IEBC and the chicken scandal is something that can never be wished away. IEBC, through corruption that shocked the world ended up giving Kenyans an election that was just a mockery of justice and democracy. Forensic investigations by the UK’s Serious Fraud Office (SFO) showed that top IIEC officials, the predecessor of IEBC, variously asked for bribes codenamed ‘chicken’ to facilitate S&O’s winning of seven tenders to supply election materials such as ballot papers, voter registration forms, voter ID cards and nomination forms. Issack Hassan, David Chirchir,James Oswago, Gladys Shollei, Kennedy Nyaundi, Kenneth Karani, to mention but a few stand to be the symbol of deep corruption within IEBC. Their continued stay in office remains a mockery of Kenyan integrity.

Mutea Iringo has not been left behind. In 2013, the Defence PS is said to have embezzled Kshs 15 Billion, the taxpayers money meant for the installation of CCTV. To make matters worse, Mutea Iringo is said to have bribed the PAC with 1.5 Million through the PAC V/C Lady, Cecily Mbarire to coverup the report touching Mutea Iringo so they could expunge and/ or doctor the report to give him a clean bill of landing as Kenyans lose 15 B.

Charity Ngilu has been adversely mentioned in being the reason why corruption has eaten up the ministry of lands and permanently locked out the Kenya Land Reforms Commission. Her corruption dates back to 2003 described to have had flagrant violations of procurement procedures to award her children and their spouses with contracts and jobs. In 2004, her own daughter misappropriated funds meant for the HIV/AIDS conference, to the controversial appointment of Dr Florence Musau as director of KNH who, together with Ngilu, were mentioned in a 224 million EMU tender. Ngilu remains the center of corruption at the lands docket, including coverups on the land corruption deals.

Kazungu Kambi has not been spared by corruption, just as Najib Balala.

So deeply rooted is the Kenyatta administration that Mwananchi is so badly and sadly damaged such that a few corrupt individuals under state protection are getting richer overnight at the expense of the poor masses.

Corruption has led to the Kenyatta administration employing unconstitutionally, only 2 communities as other communities watch. If it is not corruption, how can a violation of our constitution see the light of day?

If it is not through corruption, how will our nation be so deep into international shame of drug trafficking, and who takes responsibility and reigns other than Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto?

How can parliament be so tyrannical in making very dangerous unconstitutional decisions as if Kenya does not qualify to be a nation where humanity lives?

How can the police force be so deeply sunken into this magnitude of corruption that senior officers become billionaires overnight?

So rotten is our nation. So corrupt is our nation that the only option is the resignation of the whole system, if Kenyatta will qualify to tell Kenyans about corruption.

Kenyans need to know how 10 billion disappeared from treasury and who really was behind it, if not Kenyatta and Ruto.

Uhuru Kenyatta, stop hypocrisy. You do not qualify an inch to talk about corruption which happens to be deeply rooted in your own family. You do not have the character to tell Kenyans who have been so impoverished by corruption, that you are fighting corruption. You came to power through corruption. You have employed your community in state jobs through corruption.

If it is true that you are asking those mentioned in corruption to resign, then start with your own self. Otherwise SHUT UP HYPOCRITE!
