Why President Kenyatta Must Listen To The THREE WISE MEN
By Albert Nyakundi Amenya
Whenever Aden Duale opens his mouth to speak, I always upchuck the food I consumed months ago. The Dujis Member of Parliament reminds me of an asinine veteran politician from Molo.
The former Molo legislator Kihika Kimani was always in a cheery mood. Whenever he inadvertently opened his mouth to verbalize, he constantly smiled broadly for the cameras. The inside of his mouth looked like a diorama of Langata Cemetery: a few tombstones for teeth, discolored, crooked and awkwardly spaced.
Margaret Kenyatta, a woman permanently sentenced to Uhuru Kenyatta life as his wife, is remarkably wiser than 100 Duales. In fact, the President must listen more to her than shortsighted blokes like Duale et al.
If President Kenyatta listens to the dipsomaniacs like Duale, people who know nothing about anything, he’ll be inevitably be told that CORD wants to share power with the Jubilee government. Uhuru must not forget the fact that as a veteran politician, Raila fought tooth and nail to liberate this country.
When Moi detained him, Odinga was nearly 100 kilos heavier with his eye sight intact. Some of his torture-mates were detained with a nicely appointed set of teeth, only for some their teeth to be claimed by the detention.
When he came out of detention together with former FORD Asili leader Kenneth Matiba, Raila nearly lost sight in his left eye. He shed almost half of his body weight – from heavyweight to lightweight. But al last, freedom came, the same freedom enjoyed by blubberers like Duale. In order to move this country forward, the President must listen to the three CORD principals.
Perhaps, I instinctively classify Jubilee a people accustomed to being told what they need and want. Nevertheless, what the disaffected jubilee apologists forget is that it is difficult for the President to keep up with endless stream of Facebook messages and tweets; millions of Kenyans scribbling on social media – a right that is unavailable to countries like Cuba – warning that the spectre of ethnic profiling will soon ruin the country.
By bringing on board the three wise men Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula, the President will have the entire country secure unlike rewarding only the two major tribes encompassed in the Jubilee coalition. Having served the country in their respective capacities, the three have a lot experience that can transform this country for the better.
Kenyatta must not be pushed into dispatching uncalled for fiats by his apparachtrics unless you espouse Adolf Hitler’s so called brainy quote, “Humanitarianism is the expression of stupidity and cowardiceâ€
