From a concerned Garissa township constituent.
By Hassan Kuno.
Dear Hon Duale:
It’s clear you are overestimating your popularity in somali community. You miscalculated that you are popular but somalis have their ideas. Ideas of unity, development and prosperity.
Sir, leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality. You don’t lead by pointing and telling people what to do. You lead by doing what is right and leave a legacy behind. Listen to your people coz they are your great resources. Listen to their feedback, you never know where you next great ideas will come from.
Sir people of NEP, sent you to the top of the tree to harvest the honey for them, but upon reaching on top you forgot them and decided to absorb the honey with a fork. You ignored their problems.
Youth from NEP have been disappearing and extra judicial killing is the order of the day. There’s shutdown in the education sector after teachers fled the region for fear of their lives due to terror attacks.
Now they face double problem, both from the government and the terrorist. The region has been marginalised since the independence and has been left without investment. But don’t worry sir, we have a hope and ability to help ourselves despite the government neglect.
Sir, ignorance about your role is a death plot against people success. I feel sorry for the people of NEP whenever I see you in TV barking about Raila.
Every now and then you are raila this, raila that. It’s highly we tell you, we are not concern what raila says or doers, rather we want change. People of Garissa didint elect you just to be after raila.
It seems your leadership strategy rely on just one type of management. We are tired of cheap politics. Please borrow a leaf from your KAMUKUNJI counterpart Hon. Yussuf Hassan.
Sincerely from a concerned one
