Lawyers FAULTS Gen Nkaisery’s move on TRAFFIC OFFENCES

January 13, 2015

By J A Mwamu via Facebook

While Gen Nkaissery efforts to deal with traffic offences is lauded he must not be allowed to be carried away to the extent of proposing unconstitutional regulations.

Taking a traffic offender from Nairobi to West Pokot goes against the Constitutional provision of access to Justice and Fair trial.

Secondly ,the provision on public Finance states that public money must be used prudently and responsibly. Ferrying of suspects from Mombasa to Busia is misuse of Public money.

Any Regulations to that effect will be strenuously and stoutly opposed.
