We are not a great country because we are dishonesty to both country and self. And we accept false stories.
In 2013 General Elections, Pres. Uhuru Kenyatta and Prime Minister Raila Odinga got nearly 6million votes each, yet every Kenyan voter thereafter claimed they voted Uhuru;
when Arsenal wins a match, all Kenyans on social media claim to be Arsenal fans;
When Chelsea wins the EPL, everyone is suddenly Blues!
When Floyd Mayweather won, everyone claims they supported him.
When Sen. Mike Sonko “distributes millions” everyday, we don’t question the source.
When a one-song musician shoots a video at Wilson Airport besides parked planes, the media lies to us that he owns it and we believe it.
We buy too many false narratives, because given the opportunity, Kenyans lie everyday.
You disobey traffic rules because you think no one is watching. You steal from the Government, and from the company you work in, bec you don’t believe in honest work.
So, unless we change our mental attitude and celebrate honest work and success, We will ever catch up with South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia et al, who are our age-mates!
We must accept we are losers, poor, corrupt and primitive to succeed.
