UHURU KENYATTA: This is More than hate speech…
Justus Atuti
In as much as you have the mantle to rule the people of Kenya, the mantle does not bestow power on you to divide them along tribal lines. It doesn’t give you the mandate to practice nepotism and favoritism. It is not a blank cheque to enriching your family, your cronies and your community.
The Jubilee system of governance remains a sham, a shame and a burden on the people of Kenya from all corners. While the mistakes and wrong choices practiced in our nation, while nepotism, tribalism and high level deeply rooted corruption remain local, in today’s connected world, embarrassment has gone global.
As a people, in regard to the most recent appointment where Uhuru Kenyatta has yet again appointed one of his tribemates to command the Kenya Airforce, we can’t stop questioning the worthiness of the Uhuru regime, and if its decision makers have passed the test of senility.
While the position of The Commander of the Kenya Airforce is gone to Ng’ang’a Thuita from Uhurus backyard, Kenyans should be ready again for a replacement of Mj Gen. Karangi with yet another son of the house of Mumbi. The Kenya Defence Force has, if anything, achieved little. From the looting at the Westgate mall to Somalia where the charcoal business deals that support Alshabaab thrive, one wonders where a tribalized force will lead a sane nation to.
The character of democracy creates democracy, and the character of oligarchy creates oligarchy. The character of good governance creates a good government that serves her people while a tribal, corrupt government creates room of grand corruption and tribalism. True leaders are willing to die for their dreams. They don’t oppress with ignorance; they impress with visions”. They live like Martin Luther King Jr, Nelson Mandela and Julius Nyerere.
Uhuru and his failed regime, a regime that has failed Kenyans, has resorted into waging wars against KENYANS oppressed and impoverished by the failed system characterized by anarchy and tyranny. Systems fail when people with ability don’t have authority and people with authority lack the ability.
People gave you the authority, even though through back door. You have failed to lead them towards oneness. A president who is burdened with a failed and unpopular war, and who has lost the trust of the country, simply can no longer govern. He is destined to become as much a failure as his war.
Our national emblem has two lions but unfortunately we have highlighted more hyenas and wolfs than real lions of our country. Uhuru Kenyatta has displayed a lack of character to lead Kenya to the next level.
We as a nation have officially allowed Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto to plant seeds of tribalism in our nation. Let your people stand everywhere in our land. Let your tribes lead in everything. Resort into intimidation and assassinations to the ones opposed to your leadership. Let all sectors be filled by your tribesmen and women. But be pre-warned: YOU CAN’T CONTROL THE WRATH OF A SILENT POPULACE.
