Of M-pigs, PAC and Patriotism!

If you call yourself a Kenyan you love your country; if you call yourself a reformist you love your country; if you call yourself a patriot you love your country. Are there any who call themselves patriots who do not love their country? That is abit complicated!
Now, you do realize why some MPigs kept yelling to their colleagues during the security laws debate in Parliament that “even mpigs are patriots!”
Going by the accusations and counter-accusations of corruption, it would appear that a few members of PAC strongly believe that a mpiglet that doesn’t snatch is like a donkey that doesn’t kick. These mpigs certainly snatch, rushing headlong to grab the bones the corrupt bureaucrats throw them.
When they hear the command ‘Fetch!’, they grab even their own father, the babu-mpig, or each other. They oust the Babu mpig. So who throws bones to these mpigs, who holds the mpig-collar? Its essential to know.
In this commercialized politics of Kenya it isn’t easy to rear a mpiglet with his baby-food, his vaccinations, his veterinary bills, his barber all you need to do is throw him into a parliamentary committee, it vanishes immediately from his voters.
The parliament you knew isn’t the same any more; we know it natural for the mpig to leap at the bone ever since the Ngei-Mboya Maize scam of the 1960s. But now there are so many kinds of mpigs and mcarats and an enormous number of bones that can’t fit into anywhere else except their mouths.
These committees consist of a minority afraid of the big mpig. Why not be afraid? But, of course, they bite whether you are afraid or not, and the more fearful you are, the worse they bite. You can ask John Mbadi who is afraid of the biting in the PAC. He is trying to bring down roof and ceiling on their heads. Mbadi knows the mill will keep on turning unless you cut off the water. And a mill!
It is not the sorghum or millet that PAC millstones grind between them, but you and me. Did you realize who feed the mpigs right from the OP, CBK, IEBC, KDF, KPL, SGR, NSSF, KAA, KR etc. Suppose Mbadi couldn’t cut off the water and Ababu with his taped evidence still afraid of investigation, it doesn’t occur to you to cut off the miller yourself.
If you are a true patriot you will say, “aren’t we the real owners of this Parliament? You have played with our honour and trust enough,we have suffered enough from parliamentary corruption, you have done what you wanted to us, at least let’s save our children from the fungs of mpigs”.
