It is now clear that President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Jubilee coalition do not mean well for our country. To them, there is only one option, it is either they have their way, or they collapse this country.
How can a government elect to plot evil against its own people? Why have they connived to obliterate the bright future of our pupils by issuing them condoms and encouraging them to have carnal knowledge at their tender ages? God forbid!
Instead of providing children with the learning equipments they had promised them, this administration has reverted to its tendencies of shifting goal posts in the name of lack of benefactors.
Why has President Uhuru not realized that he is a product of the constitutional and not just a regional descendant? When will he stop visiting his political backyards with bags full of largesse – gifts – in the name of title deeds and tour other parts of the country irrespective of whether they voted for him or not?
Kenyatta’s entry at the helm of affairs has seen costs increasing and revenues declining for nearly every Kenyan individual, business or government. We are living in a country where money has lost value instantly.
We are living in a country where the cost of life is skyrocketing while employees are earning less. We are living in a country where traders are no longer selling because the purchasing power in buyers is no more or has dropped.
We are living in a country where school fees have astronomically risen, as have the prices of basic commodities. We are living in a country where landlords are studying the moods of their tenants in fear in order to know when to strike and succeed.
We are living in an overburdensome country where almost every breadwinner is dying of the weight of dependants most of whom are unemployed, unmarried, or too juvenile to earn an income.
When distinguishing between a ‘MOTHER’ and a ‘WIFE’ my grandfather used to tell me that a ‘MOTHER’ helps bring us into this world crying but the ‘WIFE’ comes in to ensure we continue crying forever.
How do I even pacify her in such like situation where every institution is unstable: families, marriages, security, sanity, and religions? Si hapo iko taabu!
This administration is good at cultivating kilometers of wheat and rice on television. It is adept at growing palm trees and cocoa in the radio where its leaders go for interviews. It is good at creating millions of jobs in newspapers. Is Jubilee not an administration of the damned? Truth is scarce.
All it has learned from Chinese education is how to package lies as truth and give it to poor ignorant Kenyans. In the end, falsehood would give way to truth because as my grandmother once opined, “The truth is like a lion. It doesn’t need anyone to defend it because it can defend itselfâ€
