1. No Kenyan shares the same ID number with another Kenyan . ID numbers are issued sequentially . Anyone born in the 50’s has a 7 digits one while the rest of us are on 8 digits.
So IEBC should identify these fake 128,000 and charge them in court for electoral offences should they be existing people. Otherwise charge the ICT officers at IEBC for criminal acts as well as treason.
2. All databases used in voter registration can not allow the primary key (unique characteristic) to be duplicated. It rejects such and a listing of such people can be obtained. The least Chebukati can do is order a new registration where biometrics are captured anew using a different software.
3. Our population grows at less than 3% annually for the longest time I know. Infact we average less than 2.7%.
At a growth rate of 3% 4.38m people in central kenya can only reach 5.386m people by December 2016 . IEBC has projected 3.4m voters in Central kenya. That is 63% of population as voters.
Statistics says 43% of Kenyans are below 15 years.
So who gives IEBC population stats on potential voters for registration ?
