Comrades, I am almost getting set to launch my Parliamentary bid for my Kitutu Chache Constituency in 2017. I take this opportunity to thank all my benefactors for the financial, moral and political support they have proffered me so far.
Historically, Kitutu Chache is the anchor constituency of Gusii’s intellects.
There comes a time in the lives of the people of Kitutu Chache, a time when there remains what the statisticians call the Bernoulli trial – the time where we are left with only two choices: Either submit and go down or struggle and come up. Fortunately, we the people of Kitutu Chache are not the submitting type.
Rather, we are going to struggle and strive with our votes to effect the change that we have so wanted to move their County forward. The People of Kitutu Chache are ready to defy any agents of destruction deployed to harass, dehumanize, intimidate and take away their inalienable right to elect a leader of their choice under a peaceful, free, fair and credible election.
Just like my fallen grandfather Dr. Zachary Onyonka I wish to reiterate the wise words of Albert Einstein when he chronicled that “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” No amount of oppression and domination is enough to cow the valiant people of Kitutu Chache North.
Personally, it will be my privilege to represent in parliament, the great and sophisticated people of Kitutu Chache. The people of Kitutu Chache are too hopeful to be doubtful.
No amount of thug importation will intimidate them. They have proved to be too optimistic to be cowards and too determined to be defeated. God Bless Kitutu Chache, God bless Kenya.
