Sycophants say President Uhuru Kenyatta is the best President North of Limpopo, South of Sahara and East of Lake Chad. On a daily basis, political extollers in the name of analysts awash this Gatundu man with saintly praises claiming he is the most hospitable and meek President since God created bread. To me, all these irrelevant are praises and worships remain ungallant until they provide unassailable evidence to buttress their assertions. Let them show us proof of what they have done or forever remain silent.
Sincerely, at this point in time, I would not have loved to judge this defunct administration because their policy makers will tell me their lustrum will clock in 2017. True. However, the ongoing economic activities including the mock projects do not reflect the well being of the struggling denizens of this Nation.
This administration has gone prodigal with virtually all public resources. These people have eaten everything until there is nothing left for the Mwananchi. I have always scribed here that soon the Mwananchi will have nothing to eat and start eating them.
Funny enough, corruption has totally blinded comrades in administration. It is unimaginable that after two years of massive looting, these holier-than-thoughs are talking of a reelection. If this administration is two and half years old and it has already sacked all the moneys from treasury and so far borrowed more than Ksh600 billion, what will be our fate in the remaining two and a half years?
Sometimes I doubt whether these comrade-in-arms at the helm are fully compos mentis when they preach to the world that Kenya is the super power of East and Central Africa yet it does not reflect to the well being of a common Mwananchi. Majority of Kenyans and world over believe that Uhuru and Ruto have handled the leadership of this country with abject levity and it’ll be disastrous to afford them another five years to mess around with.
Fellow Kenyans, kindly help me as to assess this Jubilee regime and score it appropriately with your sharp edged sword – votes. In 2017, please vote for this administration if you have electricity at both your rural and urban home. Vote for Uhuru Kenyatta if our shilling is still valuable at Ksh84 to a US dollar. In that time, ask President Kenyatta to show you 1 person his regime prosecuted and possibly imprisoned for corruption related charges and if he does, vote for him.
Vote for him if he has successfully revolutionalied our industries and agriculture to create jobs and food for our nation. Vote for him if you are comfortable with the level of security in our country by that time. Vote for him if our mushrooming graduates are being absorbed into employment upon graduating. Vote for him if our women access not only free maternal healthcare, but also quality maternal healthcare.
Vote for him if all pupils can access not only free primary education, but also if they can access free but quality primary, secondary and higher education. Vote for him only if no member of your neighbourhood has been kidnapped for ransom during his reign at the helm of affairs. If you have unrationed piped water back in your village and in town where you live, vote for him. If you are a civil servant and your salary is paid in time and up to date, don’t hesitate, vote for him.
Investigate and if you come to the conclusion that your president has not depleted foreign reserves, vote him again. Vote for Uhuru Kenyatta if he reassures you that his deputy has never grabbed any public land in his presence. Vote for him if he convinces you why it is wise for millions of citizens to remain landless whereas their President owns nearly half of the country. If your business is doing well with no pesky interferences by the Kanjo Askaris, vote for him.
As I always say, ask for Uhuru to show you a tree in Jommo Kenyatta’s compound that grows money in UD or Ksh notes to warranty the billions of dollars running in his fat family bank accounts here and abroad. If you see that tree and indeed harvest a few dollars, vote for him.
Lastly ladies and gentlemen, when 2017 comes, you’ll have a unique opportunity of choosing to either reelect the apostles of continuity of vote for the apostles for change.
