The BIGGER PICTURE William Ruto is NOT seeing, Presidency is for….

I have largely shied away from commenting on issues around the Deputy President of Kenya because personally, I admire his determination, charisma, fortitude and political style. Ruto indeed is very faithful, even to a fault.

He stood with Tinga in 2007/2008, eloquently espousing ODM’s position more than any of his peers then. I have also come to appreciate the political prowess of President Uhuru Kenyatta. Someone is intentionally misleading the Deputy President believe that Raila is fighting him. Your excellency sir, Raila have expressed his desire to lead Kenyans in 2017, and therefore President Uhuru is his competitor, and not you, unless you are in the race in 2017.

The French have a saying,” Oyieyo kudhi to kayi ” and I think this is directly applicable in your case. Just to remind you, Mr. Deputy president, Mr. Odinga did not travel with you in kshs 100 million Jet, nor did he approve the kshs 100 million curtain project for your residence, neither was he a judge in 100 acres of land case, and he has never been in charge of the ministry of land, directly or remotely to know the know the connection between Weston Hotel and Langa’ata primary land. All these scandals are leaked to the press from the same source!

As a man of God, my prayer is that you will be able to see beyond the smoke screen. Just like they made Rao “fight” unnecessary wars about pecking order, protocols, and gikmakamago, someone is making you fight the same wars, only that yours is worse, because it involves questions about character.

About LOYALTY, am not sure Moi could characterize it the same way you do. His presidency was only possible because some people like Njonjo intervened when Mzee Kenyatta died. The only way you can succeed Kenyatta is by dismantling that power base that believes the presidency is for few privileged families, otherwise, in 2022, they will say” we gave him power, and he grabbed, stole, and grabbed.” And from your 2012/13 campaigns, you know propaganda works. Remember “Oyieyo kudhi to kayi.”
