One of the Homa Bay Senate aspirants may face a huge setback after a woman he badly battered threatened to go to court to disqualify him from potentially holding an elective position based on chapter six of the constitution. The woman, also a member of ODM, has threatened to storm Orange House to demand answers on how the man was cleared by the party to vie on its ticket in the first place.
The candidate who was formerly a Mombasa businessman  has already been cleared by ODM to contest the Homa Bay senate seat alongside seven other contestants.
Documents in possession of this writer, including graphic images of the badly beaten woman whom the man left for the dead will shock the man’s supporters even as he puts a brave face in the Homa Bay senate race. We also have photos of the two went love was still sweet.
Yesterday, the candidate dogged journalists who had camped at Orange House when word went round that his past had been revealed and his hour of reckoning was drawing nigh. However, that was just a hoax as the man’s past had only been revealed exclusively to Kenya Today.Â
Our reporters will get the man’s side of the story before we go public with the damning documents detailing the aggravated assault charges the man had been levelled against and which he did not disclose to ODM Elections Board.
Meanwhile, ODM Elections Board will today scrutinize the register of delegates to carry out the nomination of the party’s senatorial candidate. The activity will go on at Orange House in the presence of all aspirants who have been informed to come with their own clerks for purposes of the verification.
