A high powered ODM Team yesterday 1st Feb 2015 conducted aggressive AERIAL Campaigns for Homa Bay Senatorial aspirant Moses Kajwang in the HOmabay County Islands of Lake Victoria.
The Team, led by Deputy Party Leader Governor Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya consisted of Party Chairman John Mbadi,Director of Elections Junet Mohamed and Nairobi Management Consultant Eliud Owalo.
Accompanied by the ODM Candidate Moses Kajwang, the Team addressed Jubilant Party Supporters in the Islands of Mfangano,Rusinga,Nyandiwa, and Ringiti within the Waters of Lake Victoria.
Their message to the voters was well-coordinated and strategic, telling the Voters that the forthcoming by-election was a contest between ODM and the JUBILEE Alliance on one hand and President Uhuru Kenyatta and CORD leader Raila Odinga on the other. The ODM team was categorical that Phillip Okundi is a Jubilee Sponsored Candidate, while Fred Rabongo and Phillip Okundi have both been sponsored by Jubille to run on fringe party tickets with the sole intention of splitting Moses Kajwang’s votes to enable the Jubilee favoured candidate Phillip Okundi to win.
They also insisted that the HOmabay Senatorial By-election will be a warm up match for the 2017 Presidential elections, urging the residents to elect Moses Kajwang with a resounding margin of 95% of the total votes cast to send a clear message to the Jubilee Government that Kenhans are sick and tired of impunity.
They. urged the residents to resoundingly vote out Jubilee-leaning ODM politicians in the 2017 general elections, starting with Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero,Rangwe MP George Oner, Karachuonyo MP James Rege, and Kisumu Town MP Ken Obura.
The ODM team was categorical that President Uhuru Kenyatta had pumped more than 1 Billion Shillings to Phillip Okundi through Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero, but urged the voters to eat the Jubilee money but vote for Moses Kajwang on 12th of February 2015.
Earlier before heading to the Islands, the team had accompanied CORD Co-Principal Kalonzo Musyoka,HOmabay Governor Cyprian Awiti and other CORD leaders for a Church Service at Asumbi Catholic Church-a stone throw away from the rural home of Dr. Evans Kidero where the Nairobi Governor was heavily castigated for allowing himself to be used by President Uhuru Kenyatta to fight CORD leader Raila Odinga
