Kenya’s largest political party will next weekend hold  what supporters of the party have termed as ‘mother of all retreats’.
The Orange Party which is also the most popular party in Kenya retreats to the drawing table to discuss the future of the party with regard to its position in the larger CORD coalition.
“From where I sit as ODM’s spokesman, I appreciate the great value that our partners bring to the Opposition. However, we shall not allow the existence of CORD to be a threat to our party or even vanquish our profile,†revealed ODM Secretary General Ababu Namwamba, pointing to the increasing frustration the Orange party has faced in its attempt to keep the coalition together.
Suna East MP Junet Mohammed also revealed that the party is gearing to make ”hard and painful decisions” about its future.
ODM’s top leaders include:
1. Raila Odinga -Party Leader.
2. Hassan Joho -Deputy Party Leader.
3. John Mbadi -Chairman.
4. Hon. Ababu Namwamba -Secretary General.
5. Hon. Junet Mohammed -Director of Elections/Campaigns.
6. Oduor Ong’wen -Executive Director.
