High Court Judge John Mativo now wants Attorney General Kihara Kariuki to give a detailed reposnse of advisory on the continued disobedience of court orders by the state.
On monday the AG had sent a representative to court(state advocate) but Miguna lawyers rejected him saying the issue needs to be addressed by the AG himself.
In his ruling Justice Mativo said the AG as a friend of the court should shed light on the issue of continued disobedience of court orders. The judge said the AG can bring the written opinion himself or send a representative with it.
Miguna’s lawyers led by senoir counsel John Khaminwa rubbished claims by the AG representative terming him as a young boy ignorant of the law.
"We have practised constitutional law longer than this boy, we shall not accept such insults. He is illiterate in constitutional law. I am glad you are not writing what he is saying because it's not worth it ~ Miguna lawyers trash advocate sent to represent AG Kihara in court pic.twitter.com/zMh9hglNGz
