President Uhuru Kenyatta and CORD Leader Raila Odinga left the country yesterday to different destinations abroad.
The President is on a five day official trip to Japan where he is set to to attend the 3rd UN World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction in Sendai city.
A news despatch from the presidency indicated the President will also hold a bilateral meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe aimed at bolstering relations between Kenya and Japan.
Raila Odinga, on the other hand, left for Morocco for the South-South Cooperation Conference and a personal engagement with the King of Morocco.
The two leaders are out at a time there troops are battling a proxy wars both in parliament and in Kajiado Central by election.
