Uhuru locks down 5 counties, Nairobi among others

President Uhuru Kenyatta announces a cessation of all movement by road, rail or air in and out of Nairobi, Kajiado, Machakos, Kiambu and Nakuru effective midnight.

With respect to education, there shall be a suspension of all physical learning except those sitting exams, until otherwise notified. Sporting activities are also suspended.

All gatherings and in person meeting of whatever nature are suspended in above counties.

In person worship shall continue to be conducted in line with interfaith council guidelines.

Curfew revised from 8PM to 4AM. In Nairobi, Kajiado, Machakos, Kiambu and Nakuru. The rest of the country continues with the 10PM to 4am curfew
