President Uhuru’s autobiography, Hard Tackle, authored by journalist Irungu Thaitah has hit Nairobi newsstands. At Ksh 299, the book is among the cheapest works of literature on any Kenyan politician or business mogul in the country.
On newsstands in Nairobi, the low cost of the book seems to be a great marketing strategy for the journalist, as Kenyans could be seen buying the book which is within their financial reach.
The serialization of the book happened last week on Daily Nation.
Leornard Khumalo of South Africa’s Sunday Times, while endorsing the book, blurbs, “stunning and brutally honest. When the story of modern Africa is written, I want to see this story (of Uhuru Kenyatta) fitted inside.
