Alliance High School with a mean of 81 points and 276 students leads the country’s secondary schools roll of honour in 2013 KCSE examinations. Alliance makes a fifth unbroken consecutive win at the top.
Coming at position two is Moi High School Kabarak with 272 students and a mean grade of 79 points.
Maseno School is placed a distant fifth with former national giants Starehe School bagging position 17.
Kisii School at position 28 fielded the highest number of candidates (323 students) followed by Kanga High School at position 33 with 295 students.
Light Academy, a private school in Mombasa fielded the least number of students. It had 21 students and ranked position 68 with a mean score of 67 points.
Maranda High school failed to make it at the top 100 Schools. Sources claim the school had its results cancelled because of cheating.
Amazing, MaryHills Girls High School in Nyeri led the womenfolk!
Closing top 100 is Carmel Girls Secondary school in Nairobi.
