Nyeri Women Representative Priscillah Nyokabi has come under vicious attack from a gang of TNA allied bloggers over her role in delivering President Uhuru to the Hague.
Led by a Moses Kuria (not sure of relations with MP Hon Kuria) and Ugandan anti-ICC crusader David Matsanga, the bloggers want Ms Nyokabi to reveal her role in sending President Uhuru to face guillotine at the Hague.
So intense is the baying for Nyokabi’s blood that she was forced to respond to the allegations, stating that she ‘owes Nyeri County lots of hard work’.
I owe Nyeri County lots of hard-work as the elected county Mp and I will give nothing short of that… I owe Nyeri big-time and day and night I work hard to serve, to the best of my knowledge, ability and minimal resources… Many times what is good for Nyeri is good for Kenya…. I no longer work for the Civil Society, I am an elected MP on TNA and I serve Jubilee diligently…. I completely believe in the development agenda of Jubilee under the leadership of the President HE Hon. Uhuru Kenyatta and the DP Hon. William Ruto. Jubilee has great programmes EG (1) infrastructure development – roads, standard gauge railway, energy production (2) Youth empowerment – 30% preferential procurement, UWEZO, NYS, Graduate prog (3) Women Empowerment – political participation and decision making, 30% preferential procurement, UWEZO (4) Education – Laptops and electricity to schools, Technical Insts, TIVET Student Loans, Enhanced capitation for FPE/FSE per student, KCPE/KCSE fees paid (5) Health – maternal health (mobile clinics, free maternity), leasing of equipment for hospitals (6) Agriculture – Fertilizer subsidised, markets, irrigation and water (7) Security – leasing of police vehicles, police insurance, houses… These great Jubilee programmes and solutions to many of the current challenges people are facing including in Nyeri are programmes I support fully and do my part as legislator to ensure they are fulfilled and deliver for the people of Nyeri and Kenya… I will keep working hard for Nyeri and Kenya…
